Admission to PhD program at the SME is a three-stage process: 1. Basic eligibility 2. Teaching and Research credentials 3. Personal interview
Candidates with any of the following academic qualifications from recognized Universities / Institutes are eligible to apply for the PhD program of the School of Management and Entrepreneurship:
Research Proposal and Statement of Purpose
The final selection will be based on the composite score on (a) academic background and proficiency (b) the score on national level qualifying exams or the Research Aptitude Test by SME (c) the strength of the proposal (d) previous research outputs, like publications and conference papers and (e) relevant work experience. Based on the final score, the candidate will be offered admission to the PhD program at SME.

Prospective candidates to the PhD program in management can visit the main admissions page and get to know when the admission is open, so that they do not miss the chance to apply on time.
How to apply?
Prospective candidates to the PhD program in management are expected to visit SNU website and fill the online application forms @ https://www.snu.edu.in/. Once the process is complete, specific department of SME will invite the candidate for an interaction at SNU campus. SNU will not reimburse travel and accommodation expenses of the candidates for participation in the selection process.
Key dates to remember:
All applications received by the School will be processed and short listed on June 21 2019; the invitation to attend written test and / or interview will be mailed to the prospective candidates on the same day.
The University reserves the right to call a particular candidate for written test and / or interview.
